I am delighted to be invited as a speaker for the Pregnant and Fabulous talk organised by Stemcord Singapore and Mount Alvernia Hospital. This event was held at York hotel last Saturday afternoon and was attended by prospective mummies and daddies who wanted to learn more about the journey of being pregnant and looking after their little one.
We ended clinic early for that day to rush to the event, which was a seven minute drive away – we navigated our way there with the help of Google maps.

The talk is well organised with topics ranging from vaginal health post delivery, prenatal exercises, information on hospital stay at Mount Alvernia and tips on taking care of baby and breastfeeding by a well known lactation consultant, Sister Kang from Mount Alvernia.
For my topic, I spoke about taking care of the skin, hair and body during and after pregnancy. These are topics very recent and close to my heart since I have just delivered my baby 1 year ago.

It is a new experience speaking to a group of mothers this time round. And it is definitely interesting to engage this group with topics ranging from skincare during pregnancy, pigmentary changes, post pregnancy hair loss and stretch marks prevention.
